3 cups (750 ml) dry red wine 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar 1 cinnamon stick
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) vodka
Put the wine, sugar and cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan over
moderate heat and heat them to just below the boiling point, stirring
frequently to dissolve the sugar. Remove the pan from the heat and
remove the cinnamon stick. Let the wine cool to room temperature.
Pour the wine and the vodka into a pitcher or decanter and chill the
the refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
