Dandelion Wine

    2.00 qt Fresh dandelion blossoms
    4.00 qt Water
    3.00 lb Sugar
    1.00 Egg white, beaten
    1.00 pk Yeast cake
    4.00 Lemons - juice only
    2.00 Oranges - juice only

Take boiling water and pour over flowers. Best to use stone jar or crock. Let this stand for a day and half. Strain, then add sugar and juices. Let stand for a day, 24 hrs. Now put in the yeast cake. Watch for scum to rise, for it's then you add the egg white. Let stand three full days before straining and bottling. From: Hillbilly Cookin' 2 MM formatted by Char
