Ingredients:
HOT PUNCH Directions:
INGREDIENTS: 2 1/2 cups sugar 4 cups water 2 sticks cinnamon 8 whole
allspice berries 10 whole cloves 1 whole fresh ginger root piece 4
cups orange juice 4 cups lemon juice 2 quarts apple cider.
PREPARATION: Combine sugar and water. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from
heat and add spices. Cover and let brew 1 hour. Strain. Before
serving, combine syrup, juices and cider. Bring quickly to boil and
serve immediately. Yield: 4 1/2 quarts. Recipe of Doris Weldon
