Light or dark brown sugar, firmly packed,
plus more for sprinkling
Brewed coffee, fresh, strong
Heavy cream, lightly whipped
Orange zest slivers,
Spoon 2 tablespoons of the Tia Maria and 1 tablespoon of the orange liqueur into each of the glasses. Pour coffee over.
Float the whipped cream over the coffee. Sprinkle with additional brown sugar and scatter orange zest slivers over the top, if desired. Serve at once.
Rub the lemon around the cut side of 2 heatproof glasses or mugs. Spread out the brown sugar on a plate and dip rims in to coat.
