Mom's Fruit Sip

Ingredients:
    1.00 Bottle apple-cherry juice
    . 48oz
    3.00 3-inch cinnamon sticks
    0.50 c Dried apples
    0.50 c Dried chopped dates
    0.50 c Raisins
    2.00 ts Vanilla extract

Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine all the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat. Allow to cool. Keep in the refrigerator overnight. Drain the liquid through a strainer or double layer of cheesecloth into a bowl. Pour the liquid into a glass bottle. Cap the bottle tightly. Store in the refrigerator. May be served hot or cold. Makes about six 8oz servings.
