Peach Melba Shake

    4.00 md Peaches, or 2 cups frozen
    1.50 c Frozen unsweetened raspberry
    1.00 c Skim milk
    1.00 tb +1 ts of fresh lemon juice
    2.00 ts Honey
    0.50 ts Vanilla extract
    4.00 ts Plain wheat germ

1. If using frensh peaches. immerese in a pot of boiling water and blanch until their skins start to split, about 1 minute. Imediately drain the peaches and cool them under cold running water. Peel off the skins and slice. 2. Place the peaches, raspberries, milk, lemon juice, honey, vanilla and cinnamon in a blender. Process until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds. 3. Pour the shake into four glasses and top each one with 1 tsp of the wheat germ. Variation - Peach-Berry Smoothie...use another type of berry, such as strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries. Substitute 3/4 cup nnfat plain yogurt for the skim milk. Each serving provides: 1/4 milk, 1 1/2 Fruits, 20 O C 107 Calories, 4 g protein, 1 g fat, 24 g arbs, 1 mg cholesterol, 32 sodium.
