Raspberry Tea (Non-alcoholic)
raspberry-flavored black tea
fresh mint sprigs,
to taste, optional
Place the raspberries at the bottom of a cup and pour the tea over them. Stir in the jam and garnish with a fresh mint sprig. Add the sugar and whipped cream, if desired.
Variations: For a Strawberry Tea, substitute 1 tbs sliced fresh strawberries, 3/4 cup strawberry-flavored black tea, and 1 tsp strawberry jam for the raspberries, raspberry-flavored black tea, and raspberry jam. Proceed as above.
For a Peach Tea, substitute 1 tbs peeled and sliced fresh peaches, 3/4 cup peach-flavored black tea, and 1 tsp peach jam for the raspberries, raspberry-flavored black tea, and raspberry jam. Proceed as above.
