Spiced Viennese Coffee
4.00 Cinnamon sticks
8.00 Allspice berries
5.00 c Cold water
8.00 tb Finely ground gourmet
Coffee ( regular or
0.50 c Sweetened whipped cream
Place cinnamon sticks, cloves and allspice berries into an 8-10 cup
carafe. Measure cold water into the coffee maker. Using ground
coffee, brew according to manufactures instructions. Allow coffee to
steep for 15 minutes after brewing.
Strain into 8 ounce, warmed coffee mugs ( or into a thermos ).
Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon. From
