Brown sugar 1

Vanilla 2
Eggs 1 1/2

Flour 1/3
c
Unsweetened baking cocoa 1/4
ts
Baking soda 1/2
ts
Salt 12

Pack semi sweet chips
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Combine crisco, brown sugar, water & vanilla in a
large mixing bowl. Beat at med speed until well blended. Beat eggs
into creamed mixture. Combine flour, cocoa, soda & salt. Mix into
creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. Stir in chips. Drop
rounded measuring tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto ungreased baking
sheet. Bake one sheet at a time at 375 for 7-9 minutes, or until
cookies are set. Cookies will appear soft & moist- DO NOT OVERBAKE.
Cool on sheet 2 minutes. Place sheets of foil on countertop. Remove
cookies to foil to cool completely.
