 Ingredients: 4 
                                   
                                  Eggs 1 1/2 
                                  cups 
                                  sugar 1/2 
                                  cup 
                                  boiling water 1 1/2 
                                  cups 
                                  flour 1/4 
                                  teaspoon 
                                  baking powder 1 
                                  teaspoon 
                                  vanilla 1 
                                  pinch 
                                  salt 4 
                                   
                                  Egg whites, 
stiff beaten
 Directions:Beat egg yolks until very thick.
 Add sugar gradually and continue beating.
 Add boiling water. Mix well.
 Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Add to egg yolk mixture. Mix until smooth.
 Add vanilla. Mix well.
 Fold in egg whites.
 Bake in greased cake pan, tube pan, deep spring form cake pan or loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
