Preheat oven to 3250. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar and salt. Beat with an electric mixer for 7 minutes. It should be light and lemon colored. Add the vanilla and mix. Fold in the flour and mix well. Mix the coconut, almonds and chips. Add the butter (cooled) and mix until thoroughly combined.
Using an ice cream scoop, place mounds of dough onto greased and floured cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes. Cookies should be dry and lightly browned.
