B.L.T. Salad with Avocado Dressing

1  large  avocado, peeled, mashed
1/2  cup  sour cream
1/4  cup  milk
1/4  cup  mayonnaise
1  tablespoon  lemon juice
1/8  teaspoon  garlic salt, up to 1/4 tsp
2  drops  hot pepper sauce, if desired, up to 3 drops

4  cups  lettuce, shredded or torn, up to 6 cups
2  medium  tomatoes, cut into wedges
12  oz  bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
1  cup  croutons, if desired

1. In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients; beat at low speed until smooth. Cover; refrigerate several hours to blend flavors.

2. At serving time, arrange salad ingredients on individual plates or toss in large salad bowl. Serve with dressing.

Leave out croutons for a low-carb dish.
