Banana Split Crumb Cake

Ingredients:

Crust
2 1/4  cups  graham cracker crumbs
1  stick  butter
1/2  cup  sugar

Filling
16  ounces  cream cheese
1 1/2  cups  sugar
1  teaspoon  vanilla
  pinch  salt
1  can  crushed pineapple, drained, reserve juice

Next Layer
4    bananas, sliced

Topping
1  tub  Cool Whip
    chopped pecans
    maraschino cherries

Directions:
1. Crust: Mix cracker crumbs and sugar together and stir well. Melt oleo, and pour it into the crumbs while tossing them with a fork. Blend oleo well into the crumbs. Press the crumbs into the bottom of a 13 x 9-in. pan Bake in 350 oF oven for 8-10 minutes.

2. Filling: Mix filling ingredients and spread over the crumb crust.

3. Next Layer on top of filling: Put pineapple juice over bananas to keep from turning black then drain juice off. Then place the slices of bananas on top of the cream cheese filling.

4. Topping: Mix the chopped pecans in the Cool Whip and spread over the top of the bananas. Drain the maraschino cherries, and rinse them off. Place the cherry halves around on top of the Cool Whip mixture. Refrigerate.
