Barb's Buttermilk Chocolate Cake (Freddi Michael)

    It's very gooey and
    I've no idea who "Barb" is,

Directions:
2 c sugar 2 c flour 1 c hot water 1/2 c butter 1/2 c oil 4 Tbsp cocoa 1/2 c buttermilk 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp soda 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla Frosting: 6 Tbsp buttermilk 1/2 c butter 4 Tbsp cocoa 1 lb powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon 1 c chopped nuts (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sugar and flour. Bring water, butter, oil, and cocoa to a boil in a mdm saucepan and pour over sugar/flour mixture. Stir and add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon, and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into 9x13" pan and bake 35-45 mins. Frosting: Bring buttermilk, butter, and cocoa to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar in a lg bowl. Add vanilla and cinnamon and beat until smooth. Frost cake and sprinkle nuts on top.
