    -----ELAINE RADIS BGMB90B-----
1 3/4  cups  Flour sifted
1/2  teaspoon  Baking soda
1  teaspoon  Baking powder
1/4  teaspoon  Salt
1  cup  Black walnuts, chopped
1/2  cup  Butter
1 1/4  cups  Brown sugar, sifted
1    Egg
2  ounces  Unsweetened chocolate, Melted and cooled
1  teaspoon  Vanilla extract
1/2  cup  Milk
1 1/2  ounces  Unsweetened chocolate, melt
1    Egg yolk
3  tablespoons  Light cream
1 1/4  cups  Confectioners' sugar, sifted

Mix and sift flour, baking soda, powder and salt; add nuts and mix. Cream butter and add sugar gradually and cream until fluffy. Add well-beaten egg and chocolate. Add extract to milk. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture, mixing just enough after each addition to combine ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated oven for 12 minutes. When cool spread with chocolate frosting. Combine chocolate, slightly beaten egg yolk, and cream; add sugar and mix well. SOURCE: "I don't know", <g>!. While going some of the things that were in the attic when we moved back home I came across a loose leaf notebook packed in with some children books that we had moved here from Levittown, P.A. in 1965. I remember putting all the clippings I had saved from the newspapers and magazines on to paper and saving them in this book. It is filled with treasures (if in age only) and I have had a ball keying them in here. I shall put this note on each recipe.
