Blackberry Upside-Down Cake

frozen blackberries 3

gelatin,
orange-pineapple flavored Jell-O

butter or margarine 1 3/4
cups
sugar 2
eggs 1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla 2 3/4

all-purpose flour 2 1/2
teaspoons
baking powder 1
teaspoon
salt 1
cup
milk
Directions: 1.
Place thawed berries in bottom of a buttered 9 1/2 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with Jell-O and set aside.

In large mixing bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until fluffy (about 5 minutes). Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to butter mixture. Mix at low speed for 3 minutes.

Pour cake mixture over berries. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Turn upside down if desired.
