Brown Sugar Cookies
Butter or butter substitute
Cream butter. Add sugar. Add eggs, yolks and whites beaten
separately, and milk. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking
powder and salt. Add to first mixture. Add nuts. Mix thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet. Bake in moderate
oven (400 F) about 15 minutes. Nuts or raisins may be pressed into
