Brownies, Creme De Menthe (polly Lee)

INGREDIENTS 1 cup Butter 1 cup Sugar 4 Eggs 1 cup Flour 1/2 t Salt 1
can (16 oz) Hershey Chocolate Syrup 1 t Vanilla 2 Tbsp Creme de
Menthe 2 cup Powdered Sugar 1 pkg (6 oz) Nestle Chocolate Chips
Cream 1/2 cup butter & sugar until light. Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix flour and salt. Add alternately with chocolate syrup to
mixture. Stir in vanilla. Bake 350F - 25 min in a 13 X 9" pan.
(Batter will be thin). Cool Completely
Mix Creme de Menthe, 1/4 cup butter, powdered sugar. Chill at least
one hour before spreading.
Spread Creme de Menthe mixture on top of cooled brownies.
Melt 1/4 cup butter & chocolate chips. Spread on top of Creme de
NOTE: These brownies have a texture more like candy/fudge. They are
very attractive with the light green stripe of Creme de Menthe.
Excellent for holidays & parties.
