Box yellow cake mix *
Carmel topping**: 1
To 2 cans Pet (evaporated
-milk) 1
tb
To 2 Tb vanilla 1/2
To 1 cup sugar 1
Stick butter, to each can of
-evap. milk used.
Directions:
* prepare according to directions. May make it extra rich with 4 eggs
poke holes in baked cake. ** Depending on how much carmel you want use
This is a simple, but very good cake, and someting different to serve
with coffee after dinner.
Add all ingredients into a large saucepan. A heavier one is better.
Cook and let it boil 30 mins. Watch and Stir, so it does not scorch.
Pour over cooled cake, that has been poked with holes with bottom of
wooden spoon. Now serve and hear all the raves! Served with ice
cream, with the carmel sauce on that too would be fattening.
