Cherry Jelly Cookies
Cream oleo and sugar; add egg and flavorings. Blend in flour and salt;
chill. Roll dough 1/8 inch thick on floured surface; cut with a 1 3/4
inch round cutter; cut hole in half the cookies. Place on lightly greased
cookie sheets. Bake 375 degrees about 8 minutes; cool. Dip cookies with
hole into powdered sugar. Spread bottom of cookie with cherry jelly,
placing a little more toward center. Cover with sugar-coated cookies.
Makes about 6 dozen.
