4-6 tablespoons cocoa 2

Vanilla 1

Salt 1/2

Pkg chopped dates 1

Boiling water 1

Baking soda 12

Bag of chocolate chips
Chopped nuts (pecans or
-walnuts)
Directions:
Put dates, water and baking soda in small bowl. Put all other
ingredients in large bowl. Add date mixture and mix well. Pour into
greased and floured pan. Sprinkle top with chocolate chips (as much
as you want) and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When cool
sprinkle top with powdered sugar. Pan should be 13 x 9 inches.
