Ingredients: 4
tablespoons
sugar 1/4
teaspoon
salt 1
tablespoon
cornstarch 1
egg,
slightly beaten
1
pint
milk,
scalded
vanilla
pie crust,
cooked
Cool Whip
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, and cornstarch well. Add slightly beaten egg, then scalded milk. Stir constantly. Pour into double-boiler and cook until it thickens and coats a spoon. Cool and flavor with vanilla. Place in cooked pie crust. Chill. Top with Cool Whip.
