Chocolate Sheet Cake (patty Smith)

Directions:
2 c flour 2 c sugar 1 1/2 c butter 1/4 c oil 4 Tbsp cocoa 1 c water 1/2 c buttermilk or sour milk 1 tsp baking soda 1 Tbsp vanilla 1 Tbsp cinnamon 2 eggs Chocolate Icing: 1 1/2 c butter 4 Tbsp cocoa 1 Tbsp vanilla 1 lb powdered sugar 4 - 6 Tbsp milk (enough for spreading consistency) 1/2 c chopped pecans or nuts of your choice Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 15x10x1" sheet pan. Mix the flour and sugar in a large bowl. Put the butter, oil, cocoa and water in a saucepan; bring to a rapid boil. Remove from heat and mix with the flour and sugar. Add the buttermilk or sour milk, baking soda, vanilla, cinnamon and 2 well beaten eggs. Mix well and pour into pan. (FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THE CAKE IS DONE, mix the icing in a medium size saucepan.) Bake 18 - 20 minutes, until tester comes out clean. Chocolate icing: Melt butter and cocoa. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, milk and nuts. Spread on cake as soon as it comes from the oven.
