Salt OR vinegar

Directions:
Many fruits and vegetables, especially fresh from the garden, have tiny insects on them. Salad greens, herbs and strawberries are particularly susceptible to this problem. To draw bugs out, use salt or vinegar in the rinse water when you clean the produce. Then rinse again with clear water. Shared by Sherilyn Schamber
