Creamy Chocolate Pie

Ingredients: 1
baked pastry shell,
9 inch
3
oz
unsweetened chocolate
or semi-sweet chocolate 14
oz
sweetened condensed milk 1/4
t
salt 1/4
c
water 2
egg yolks 1
t
vanilla extract 1
c
whipping cream
additional whipping cream
Directions:
In heavy saucepan, melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk and
salt. Cook and stir rapidly until very thick and bubbly, 5 to 8 minutes.
Add water and egg yolks; cook and stir rapicdly until mixture thickens
and bubbles again. Add vanilla. Cool 15 minutes. Chill thoroughly
about 30 minutes; stir. In large mixer bowl, beat whipping cream until
stiff; fold into cooled chocolate mixture. Pour into prepared pastry
shell. Chill 3 hours or until set. Top with additional whipped cream;
garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
