Crunchy Chocolate Chipsters
Butter Flavor Crisco
Sugar, brown, firmly packed
Flour, all purpose
Crisp rice cereal
Chocolate chips, semi-sweet
Preparation Time: 20 Minutes Bake Time: 9 Minutes
1. Heat oven to 350 F. Grease baking sheet with Butter Flavor Crisco.
2. Cream Butter Flavor Crisco, granulated sugar, brown sugar and milk
in large bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix
until blended. Stir in creeal and chocolate. Drop level measuring
tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet.
4. Bake at 350 for 9 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
Makes 4 dozen 2 inch cookies.
