Ingredients:
1    pie crust, for 9" pie
5  c  pear -- ripe, peeled and
    diced*
1/2  c  whipping cream
    or 1/2 cup sour cream
2    eggs
1/2  c  sugar
1/4  c  milk
    cinnamon, for top

Directions:
*You can use 5 cups of peaches or rhubarb instead of pears. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9" pie plate with the pie crust and flute the edges. Set aside. Peel and core the pears and dice. Place the whipping cream (or sour cream), eggs, sugar, and milk into a small bowl and thoroughly mix together. Place pears into the pie crust and pour custard over it. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for about 1 hour or until the crust is lightly brown and the custard is golden brown. By "Lloyd A. Carver" <lloyd2@mindspring.com> on Jan 5, 1996
