Double Dark Brownie
Karo light OR dark
Squares semisweet chocolate
Karo Light OR Dark Syrup
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 inch round cake
pan. In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring corn syrup and
butter to a boil, stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Add
chocolate, stir until melted. Add sugar; stir in eggs one at a time,
then vanilla, flour and nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out
clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool
Prepare glaze, pour over top and spread on side. Let stand one hour.
For Chocolate Glaze. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt
semisweet chocolate and butter, stirring often. Remove from heat.
Stir in the Karo syrup and the milk, mixing until smooth.
