Fattigmann - Poor Man's Cookies

Beat egg and egg yolks slightly. Add other ingredients. Use enough flour to make a soft dough. Mix, handling as little and as lightly as possible. Roll out on floured cloth and cut in 4" diamond shapes. Make slit in center of diamond and pull long corner tip through slit. Looks like German Krullers. Fry in hot lard until very lightly browned. Drain on brown paper and dust with powdered sugar when cool.
