Frosted Mint Brownies

Ingredients:
    GLAZE:
1  c  Semisweet chocolate chips
6  tb  Margarine
    BROWNIE BASE:
1  c  Sugar
4    Eggs -- beaten
1/2  ts  Vanilla
1/2  c  Pecans -- chopped
1/2  c  Butter
1  c  Flour
16  oz  Chocolate syrup -- 1 can
1/2  ts  Salt
    FROSTING:
2  c  Powdered sugar
3  dr  Green food coloring
1/2  ts  Peppermint flavoring
2  tb  Milk
1/2  c  Butter

Directions:
Glaze: Put the margarine and chocolate chips in a bowl over boiling water and stir constantly until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth. Take off heat and let cool. Brownies: Mix the sugar and butter, add the 4 beaten eggs, then add flour, vanilla until well blended. Add the chocolate syrup, pecans and salt and fold in. Put in a 9x13 greased pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Frosting: Mix in a blender and chill for 30 minutes Frost brownies, then pour on the glaze, and watch your weight and cholesterol climb skyhigh...but its worth it. Recipe By : Bevmed From: Date:
