Fudge Sauce

12  ounces  Evaporated milk (1 can)
1 3/4  cups  Sugar
4  ounces  Unsweetened chocolate (4, squares)
1/4  cup  Margarine
1 1/2  teaspoons  Vanilla extract
1/4  teaspoon  Salt

<Fred Peters> Combine the milk and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, to a rolling boil. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Add the chocolate and stir until smooth and melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Makes enough for two gift containers. [The Baltimore Sun; Dec 11, 1991]
