Georgia Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
1  cup  Karo syrup, dark
1  cup  Sugar
1/4  teaspoon  Salt
3  each  Eggs
1    Stick butter, melted
1  tablespoon  Vanilla
1  cup  Pecans

Directions:
Combine in following order: 1. Mix syrup, sugar and salt together. 2. Beat in whole eggs 3. Stir in melted butter, vanilla, and pecans 4. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 50 minutes at 350. From the John Day Oregon cookbook, entered by Esther Schmidt.
