Butter Or Margarine,
Chocolate Mint Chips
Sweetened Condensed Milk
Melt butter or margarine in a 9x13 inch pan. Line pan with ginger
snaps (about an entire 16 oz. box) , crumbling some of the cookies
to fill in spaces between cookies. Over the top of the cookies sprinkle
chips and coconut.
Over all this drizzle sweetened condensed milk. Bake at 350F for
30 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm.
Here is a recipe that calls for ginger snaps, but I'll bet your molasses
cookies would be good. I made these for last year's office Christmas
party and they were a big hit -- and really easy to make. I got the
recipe from a friend who called them "Gran Grans" because she had
gotten the recipe from her grandmother.
