Greek Pasta Salad

1/2  cup  olive oil
1/2  cup  red wine vinegar
3/4  teaspoon  sugar, or to taste
1 1/2  teaspoons  garlic powder
1 1/2  teaspoons  basil
1 1/2  teaspoons  oregano
3/4  teaspoon  pepper
8  ounces  pasta, cooked, cold
3  cups  mushroom, thickly sliced
15    cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1  cup  red bell pepper, cut into strips
3/4  cup  feta cheese, crumbled
1/2  cup  green onion, chopped
3 1/2  ounces  black olives, sliced
3/4  cup  pepperoni slices, cut into strips

Mix together oil, vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, basil, oregano, and pepper. Add remaining ingredients and toss until all ingredients are well coated. Cover and chill 2 hours or overnight. Makes 10 cups.

If you want to save time, use a good Balsamic vingarette dressing and omit the olive oil, red wine vinegar, and sugar from the recipe. Add any desired veggies in salad.
