Lemon Rub Pie

Ingredients:
1 3/4  cups  sugar
2  tablespoons  self-rising white cornmeal
1  tablespoon  self-rising flour
4    eggs
1/4  cup  butter or margarine, melted
1/4  cup  milk
1/4  cup  lemon juice
2  tablespoons  grated lemon peel
1    pie crust (9 inch), unbaked

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Stir together sugar, corn meal, and flour in mixing bowl. Add eggs, butter, milk, lemon juice, and lemon peel; beat with electric mixer on medium speed until blended and smooth. Pour filling into pastry shell. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted one inch from center comes out clean and top is very brown. Do not overbake. Cool on wire rack.
