Lorene Hanson's Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
1    pie crust, 9 inch, unbaked
3    eggs
1/4  t  salt
1/2  c  brown sugar, light, packed
1  c  karo syrup, white
1  t  vanilla extract
2  tb  butter, melted
1 1/2  c  pecans, halves

Directions:
Recipe by: Joe & Lynda Beaugez Preparation Time: 1:00 Beat eggs lightly. Add salt, brown sugar, syrup, vanilla and butter; beat well. Add pecans and stir. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and continue baking for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean. By "Lloyd A.
