Orange Pudding Cake

Ingredients:

-----Dry Ingredients-----
1  Cup  Flour
1 1/2  Teaspoons  Grated Orange Rind
2  Teaspoons  Baking Powder
1    Egg
1/4  Teaspoon  Salt
2  Teaspoons  Vanilla
1/4  Cup  Butter Or Margarine
1/3  Cup  Hot Water
1/2  Cup  Sugar

-----Wet Ingredients-----
1 1/2  Cups  Orange Juice
1/3  Cup  Sugar
2  Teaspoons  Vanilla
1/4  Teaspoon  Salt

Directions:
1. Mix dry ingredients.

2. Cream butter and sugar with orange peel. Then beat in egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the hot water.

3. Pour into 9 X 9 inch greased pan.

4. Combine wet ingredients and mix well. Pour carefully over the batter. ***Do Not Stir In.***

5. Bake 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.

6. Serve warm with some of the sauce over each square.

This is a great quick family dessert.
