Peach Raisin Cobbler

Ingredients:
1 1/4  c  Sugar, divided
2  c  Peeled peach slices,
    -fresh
1  c  All purpose flour
1 1/2  ts  Baking powder
1/4  ts  Salt
1  c  Milk
1/2  c  Butter or margarine, melted
    Frozen or canned
1  c  Raisins
1  t  Cinnamon
1/4  ts  Nutmeg
1/4  ts  Allspice

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9-inch square pan. IN large bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Blend in milk and butter. Pour batter into greased pan. Combine peaces, raisins, remaining 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice; toss to coat evenly. Spoon peach mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or at room temperature if desired.
