Shoo Fly Cake

Combine flour, sugar, and butter, and blend to fine crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumbs for the topping. Mix together water, molasses, and baking soda. Add to remaining crumbs. Mix well. Batter will be rather thin. Pour into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle the 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture on top. Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes.
