Warm Caramel Apple Topping (The Eagle-Tribune)

21  ounces  Comstock Thank You or Wilderness Apple Pie Filling or Topping
1  cup  Caramel ice cream topping
1  cup  Orange juice
1  teaspoon  Ground nutmeg
1  quart  Vanilla ice cream, OR
6  slices  Pound cake
    Salted peanuts, optional

In a saucepan over low heat, simmer the pie filling, caramel topping, orange juice, and nutmeg for 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve warm over ice cream or pound cake. Top with peanuts if desired.
