Ingredients:

chocolate wafer or oreo
cookie crumbs 1/2

to 1/4 cup butter,
melted

to 2 qts. peppermint stick
or vanilla ice cream,
soften
-------------------------meringue---------

egg whites 1

marshmallow creme 1

vanilla
---------------------------sauce----------

unsweetened chocolate 1
tb
butter 1/2
c
sugar 1
6 oz. cn
evaporated milk
Directions:
Crust: Combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press into 9" or 10" pie
plate. Chill.
Filling: Spoon into chilled crust and freeze until firm (may be
covered with baked meringue or served with chocolate sauce only).
Meringue: Beat egg whites until stiff. Add marshmallow cream
gradually and continue beating. Stir in vanilla. Spread meringue over
ice cream, sealing to edge of crust. Bake at 450~ for 2 to 3 minutes., or
until lightly browned. Freeze immediately. Cut into pieces and serve
with sauce. Sauce: Melt together chocolate and butter over low heat.
Stir in sugar and milk; continue cooking until thick, stirring
constantly. Either serve with the meringue or pour directly over the
ice cream and freeze until serving.
Prep time - 25 minutes., Baking time - 2 to 3 minutes., Serves - 8 to 10
