Banana Walnut Pie

1  9"  pie shell, unbaked
1/4  c  butter or margarine, soften
3/4  c  light brown sugar, packed
2  tb  flour
    ds salt
3    eggs
1  c  light corn syrup
2  ts  vanilla
1  c  walnuts, coarsely chopped
2  c  bananas, thickly sliced
    about 3 medium

Prepare pie shell. Set aside. Cream together butter, brown sugar, flour and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Beat in corn syrup and vanilla until well blended. Arrange bananas in pie shell. Sprinkle walnuts over bananas. Pour in mix. Bake at 350~ for 45-50 minutes or until crust is browned and filling is set. Cool before cutting. By KKBG35A RUTH BURKHAR
