Caramel Chocolate Chip Brownies

Caramels 1/2
c
Evaporated milk 1
German chocolate cake mix 1/3
c
Evaporated milk 3/4
c
Margarine melted 1
c
Nuts chopped 12
oz
Chocolate chips
Directions:
Slowly melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk, then set aside.
Blend cake mix with remaining evaporated milk, margarine and nuts.
Press half of cake mixture into 13x9-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at
350. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over cake. Pour
caramel mixture over top, then crumble remaining cake mixture over
caramels. Bake another 20-22 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool and cut
into squares.
