Carnation Pumpkin Pie

2    eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2  cups  canned pumpkin
1  cup  sugar
1/2  teaspoon  salt
1  teaspoon  cinnamon
1/4  teaspoon  ginger
1/4  teaspoon  cloves
1/4  teaspoon  nutmeg
1 2/3  cups  undiluted carnation evaporated milk
1    single (9") crust unbaked pie shell

Combine eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Gradually add evaporated milk. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) 15 minutes; reduce to moderate heat (375 degrees) and continue baking about 40 minutes, or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean. Cool before serving.
