Ingredients: 2 1/4

baking soda 1

butter or shortening 3/4
cup
sugar 3/4
cup
brown sugar 1
teaspoon
vanilla 1/2
cup
water 2
eggs 1
cup
nuts 1
large pkg.
chocolate or butterscotch chips
Directions:
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Cream butter or
shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and water. Beat in 2 eggs. Add
flour mixture and mix. Stir in 1 cup nuts and chocolate or butterscotch
chips. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees
for 8 to 10 minutes. Same batter 10 x 15 inch pan for 25 minutes. Makes
thin cookies.
For thicker cookies, may be used in 9 x 13 inch pan.
