Chocolatechip Cappucino Cake With Coffee Frosting

    Coffee can. It's dead easy,
    Even the
    Frosting, and nearly
    Everybody seems to like it.

Directions:
CAPPUCCINO CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE WITH BUTTERY COFFEE FROSTING ***Cake*** 1 stick (1/4 lb) softened butter 1 stick softened margarine 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. milk 1/3 c. very strong coffee (use 2 rounded tablespoons coffee and 6 oz. water, and do NOT use coffee that's instant or stale) 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c, all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. miniature chocolate chips ***Frosting*** 1 stick softened butter 1 stick softened margarine 1 c. white sugar 1/3 c. milk 1/3 c. of extra-strength coffee (as above) 2 tsp. vanilla ****cake*** Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl. In a separate bowl, cream butter and maragarine. Add vanilla, sugar, and eggs. Beat well. Mix coffee and milk, and alternate adding this mixture and flour mixture to the butter, sugar and eggs. Stir chocolate chips into batter. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" pans, preferably springform type, and bake at 350 for 30 min. or till knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 min., remove from pan and chill well. ***frosting*** beat all ingredients together for 5 minutes till the consistency is like whipped cream. Frost cake and chill before serving.
