Coconut Cream Pie Filling

Ingredients:
2  c  milk
1/4  c  coconut
4    egg yolks
3  tb  cornstarch
1  t  vanilla
1/2  c  sugar
1/4  t  salt
1/2  c  sugar
1  tb  butter
2    dr almond extract

Directions:
Recipe by: Mary Spero Put milk, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and coconut in double boiler and let come to near boiling point. Mix egg yolks, 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch and add to mixture in double boiler and cook until thick. Add butter, vanilla and almond extract. Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
