Craggy-topped Fudge Brownies

Ingredients: 1
cup
sugar 1/2
cup
butter or margarine 12
ounces
chocolate chips,
divided
3
large
eggs 1 1/3
cups
flour 1
teaspoon
vanilla 1/4
teaspoon
baking soda 1/3
cup
chopped nuts
Directions:
1.
Heat sugar & butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/4 cups chips; stir until melted. Stir in eggs. Stir in flour, vanilla & baking soda until combined. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan.

Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 18 - 22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly sticky.
3.
Sprinkle with remaining chips & nuts while still hot . Cover with foil. Chill in pan until completely cooled. Cut into bars.
