Deirdre's Chocolate Lovers Brownies

Ingredients: 225
g
unsalted butter 4
squares
unsweetened chocolate 400
g
sugar (I like a tad less) 4
eggs (if they are jumbo use only 3) 125
g
flour 1
pinch
salt 1/2
tsp
vanilla 1
cup
chocolate chips 1
cup
walnuts (optional)
Directions:
1. Melt butter and chocolate slowly in a pot large enough to hold all of
the ingredients.
2. Cool slightly then add sugar and then beat in eggs, one at a time.
Then add vanilla and all of the rest of the ingredients, mixing enough
just to blend the flour.
3. Spread evenly into a greased 23x33 cm pan and bake in a pre-heated 180
C oven for 25 minutes.
4. Cool several hours before trying to cut or remove from pan.
Difficulty : moderate.
