Categories: Cakes / Chocolate / Desserts

Ingredients:
1  Pkg  German Chocolate Cake Mix
1  C  Pecans, chopped
1  C  Coconut, shredded
8  Oz  Cream Cheese
1/4  Lb  Margarine, 1 stick
1  Lb  Powdered Sugar, 2 C
1  Tsp  Vanilla

Directions:
This made the rounds when we had our `big' mag 5 earthquake in Indiana on May 5, 1987. Butter 11 x 14" cake pan; spread pecans and coconut on bottom. Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to directions on package, and spread over pecans and coconut. Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, margarine and vanilla until smooth and thin, spread over cake mix. Bake at 350 deg F for 45-50 min. This cake looks like a disaster, but that it tastes good. Formatted into MasterCook II by Reggie Dwork reggie@netcom.com
